CROHN'S DISEASE, ULCERATIVE COLITIS
Andrew has treated me for Crohn’s disease over the past year or so. I was suffering a flare up with unbearable symptoms when I first got in touch with him. After having been on strong medication for 10 years and having suffered many severe flare ups, I am presently delighted to be completely drug free and symptom free.
It took a lot of faith and courage on my behalf in the beginning as there were some scary moments during the process and I almost panicked and went back to the steroids etc but Andrew was always there for me through it all, always in touch. After a while I could see gradual improvements and things continued to get better.

CHRONIC URTICARIA
Dear Andrew,
I hope you are well. You may recall that you had helped me last summer with my severe, 20-year urticaria using Ars. Alb. Now that Spring is in full swing in Canada, I can report back to you that I had an excellent winter and early Spring. I have not had any allergic reactions at all: my skin has been itch-free and my eyes without irritation even in this peak season for me. So far so good. PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS
"Homeopathy has been life changing for me. I have been using homeopathy for 20 years and who knows where I would have been without it. Whilst relying on allopathic medicine (NSAID's, steroid injections and cortizone) for the first 10 years of my diagnosis, I remained mostly unable to walk or climb stairs. For the past 7 years I have worked in a customer facing environment and have met so many people reliant on allopathic medicine, yet still dibilatated by arthritis, granted much older than me, but in many cases they have had arthritis for shorter periods. After having Psoriatic Arthritis for almost 30 years, I myself have some fused joints, yet I remain active and supple. When I first went to see Andrew I was concerned about my eczema. Having unsuccessfully tried aromatherapy and acupuncture I thought why not give homeopathy a go.
Andrew decided that he would not treat my eczema, but would treat my asthma. At this time I was using 2 preventative inhalers and the doctors were about to prescribe stronger steroids.
The holistic approach of homeopathy caused me to reconsider everything that I thought I knew about health. With the care and support provided by Andrew my treatment has been very successful. I no longer need any preventative inhalers, I do not get eczema and feel so much better.

CHRONIC HIP INFLAMMATION - Pain in a 9 year old girl
After more than 3 months with our daughter on crutches and inconclusive diagnosis (including 2 MRI scans) by experienced members of staff at Royal Berkshire Hospital and Oxford, we were delighted to see her walk again unassisted following a visit to your practice. Pain receded within 36 hours of diagnosis / treatment and the child was able to walk and run again. She has been asymptomatic for the past 4 months. Thank you for seeing me at short notice on Wednesday.
My gout problem started some 24 years ago and I took my prescription for allopurinol for about four years. I found that the side effects were increasingly intolerable and was finally referred to you.
I appreciated the way in which you contextualised my problem, pointing out that inherited conditions form part of a miasma that could have originated many generations before. A tiny dosage of a homeopathic remedy was all that was needed to rectify the problem and alleviate the pain.
For the next 20 years I was gout free. The recent attack was easily nullified by a small booster of the same remedy.
In my professional life I am an environmental scientist and imbued with all the scepticism that my training brings. However in my own studies small applications are more effective than large and I can see similarities between the disciplines.

ERYTHEMATOUS RASH
I consulted Andrew Ward with regard to a severe and intermittent rash, which started on my eyes and spread all over my face. Over the course of a few months I was treated by Andrew, who gave me a remedy, which had an immediate effect. The rash came and went, but after a second dose of the remedy has now disappeared completely without my having to use a steroid cream on my face.

SHINGLES, FATIGUE, EMOTIONAL ISSUES AND BACK PAIN

I’ve been meaning to get in touch for a while to say how well I feel post shingles . It has been an extraordinary time, with a clear and positive resolution for the splitting of the house and a feeling of moving forward into the new. I can honestly say that I feel the happiest I have ever been in my life!! Thank you for your help and support in all of this process.
I am however left with a big toe that is more painful than it has ever been. Not quite sure what to do about it if anything! My back is generally much better, still pain after garden work and when I am on my feet a lot but my toe is a worry as I am so active in my work. I worry too that my left toe is starting to niggle. Wonder if this is a big physical clear-out after the emotional or whether it needs addressing?

HEPATITIS C, END STAGE LIVER CIRRHOSIS
I have been seeing Andrew for over two years now for cirrhosis of the liver. When I first met him I had lost all hope and my liver specialist was continually telling me that I was deteriorating and that I needed to go on some trial treatment asap which I have so far resisted.
I have seen numerous homeopaths here in NZ but was not making any progress. So I began to research and came across Andrew. At the time I was bleeding a lot, nose bleeds, mouth bleeds. I would be out shopping and suddenly my mouth would fill with blood and it would continue for 3 hours. I thought my days were numbered. After one consultation and one remedy the bleeding stopped within two days. I have never had it back like that. Now IF I bleed then it lasts a few minutes max.
I began to feel better and better, in fact I have felt fantastic some days. Quite unusual for someone with end stage liver disease.
Then my skin began to itch. I felt like I was going insane. Again Andrew gave me a remedy that managed to stop that and now I just get it very mildly from time to time.
I developed ascites and initially the remedies got rid of the fluid straight away. Within 10 minutes of taking one I could feel this activity in my feet and know something was happening. Then for a while it wasn't so effective for this symptom, which was more than likely due to extreme anxiety about my sick father. But now the fluid is under control and some times I don’t think I have any. My specialist can not understand that at all!
I am so grateful to Andrew, he has helped me considerably. Its been rough because I’m very ill, but every symptom has been dealt with as it has presented itself and I am not suffering like all the other patients with this disease.
Now thankfully there is hope!

When my yoga teacher recommended going to see Andrew and trying homeopathy I must admit I was initially very sceptical. I could not understand how it could possibly work bar the placebo effect. However I had great respect for my yoga teacher and the conventional treatments (massive doses of strong steroids) simply failed to work and had very unpleasant side effects.

GALLSTONES AND JAUNDICE
“I know this is a cancer blog but my experience may help someone. Reading about Emil’s symptoms before being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer were identical to mine 6 months ago. I knew I had gallstones which had been kept in check with diet for many years. In addition, I was doing liver flushes every so often. After one of these I suffered what seemed to be a ‘gallstone attack’ or colic (I recognised it easily as I’d had many!). I was in agony for 3 days but refused to go to hospital because I knew they would just remove my gallbladder. On the 3rd night I had a dialogue with my body, (or blackmail), either stop the pain or I will call an ambulance! 3 hours later the pain had gone. End of story? No way! I developed full-blown jaundice, yellow eyes, brown urine, clay stools, unbelievable fatigue, appetite almost nil, depression verging on suicidal thoughts.
The only thing I knew was to try to detox with juices etc. using everything I had learned about aiding the liver. Also a ‘tonic’ made up by the natural pharmacy we are lucky to have here. Meanwhile, everyone was urging, or begging, me to go to a doctor, which I continued to refuse to do (I haven’t seen one in over 20 years). Then, of course, many just threw up their hands in despair, waiting for me to deteriorate even more when I would probably collapse and the hospital would pick up the pieces. After 5 weeks of not getting better I made an appointment with a homeopath.
It was obvious to him I was ill but he didn’t judge, or panic, he just listened to my life-story. Lots of hidden anger, resentment and feeling helpless about others’ plights; lack of confidence, pretending to be always cheerful when I was far from it! We discussed possible blood tests or scans to see where the ‘blockage’ was – but that meant going to a GP, who would then take control….OK, we agreed not a good idea... yet. He gave me a week’s supply of celandine. Nothing changed, or nothing apparent. Back again, he then gave me 4 ‘pills’ of lycopodium, warning me they were powerful. I took 2 that night, 2 in the morning, nothing happened…then the day after I had a really bad pain, getting worse as the morning progressed. I texted the homeopath who said, Good, keep me posted! I went to bed feeling like I was in labour, slept, didn’t eat at all, then by midnight the pain disappeared!
The next day I was exhausted, stayed in bed until the evening when I got up for a while. The day after, a Sunday, I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL I felt. Normal, hungry, energetic, happy, excited – unbelievable, yet always a little wary it wouldn’t last. But it did! This was 4 months ago. The jaundice disappeared slowly, everything returned to normal and I honestly felt 110%. Anyone who has been ill will recognise the euphoria. My family knew I had been right all along but it was other people who were dumfounded – they just said …Oh, well, whatever it was you’re better now…or Oh, you went to a doctor after all….No! A homeopath! A miracle? I think it was a combination of everything but the lycopodium was the right remedy for me this time.
I cannot thank my homeopath enough – he knows but was positively BEAMING when I went back for a follow up 3 weeks after! Today, after reading about Emil, I wonder if this may have led to cancer if treated differently…..Thank you, for Emil’s story, because it reminded me how lucky I am. ANXIETY
This is just a quick message to say thank you for getting A......... where she is now, mentally and emotionally. We went to visit my quite elderly parents last weekend abroad (which is something she very much wanted to do), this when the Coronavirus was already sending people into panic mode. She never showed any sign of panic or anxiety going to and getting through the international travel hubs. What an achievement! Not only that, she is now the one reassuring worried and panicking people at work and wherever needed! Well, we are both speechless. Having said this, she will no doubt be in touch with you soon for herself and for B.... who will be having invasive dental treatment next week.

Also, it is worth adding that as you know (for she got in touch with you a few weeks back), she also was strong enough to put her fears aside and resisted giving B... a second course of antibiotics despite being under pressure from others to do so.

I approached Andrew after suffering with Erectile Dysfunction for approximately a decade following a long urology history as a child. This effected my confidence and affected my relationships with women. I had been to the NHS multiple times and was consistently being offered viagra as a short term fix.
